Contract Manager (2008 – 2009)
Contracts: ARIES Microsemi and SouthWest Research Institute contracts, Classified, CPIF $10 million each
Appointed by Top Management Team as contract manager for competing cost-plus-incentive-fee contracts for
development of a Power Supply for the ARIES surveillance mission. Facilitated formal SDLC inspections by BAE’s crossfunctional
and geographically dispersed Review Teams. Responsible for contacting contractors to resolve issues on
contract requirements as-needed. Expertly monitored contractors’ performance for compliance with contractual
requirements, delivery schedules, and quality standards of SDLC deliverables that would ensure the production of a
verified and validated product. Also assisted PM by identifying, analyzing, and summarizing risks/issues/actions for
each contractor as an on-going activity. Analyzed and summarized all data in weekly reports to PM; and monthly
presentation to TPM. Contributed to PM/TPM’s decision-making on recurring contract payments and incentive fees
based on contractors’ performance, with emphasis on quality standards of SDLC deliverables. Result was the final award
of Microsemi’s contract to move forward with production and closeout of the SwRI contract.
Program Manager | New Business Development (2006 – 2008)
Contracts: NASA Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter (LRO) and next gen Lunar Crater Observation and Sensing Satellite (LCROSS);
Global Precipitation Measurement (GPM); Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL) Radiation Belt Storm Probes
Spearheaded oversight of an Integrated Product Team of 50+ engineers and quality and production staff. Led full
lifecycle development from business acquisition to mission integration testing while serving as an interface between
NASA and staff to meet mission goals using EVMS and PMBOK processes. Ensured seamless efforts by supporting
proposal preparation and strategy sessions with PMO for new business capture of next generation systems to deliver a
